The TransTalk phone (model MDW 9040) includes a backlit, alphanumeric LCD display; programmable buttons, intercom, dual volume control, message indicator; conference capability; vibrator alert, mute, hold, transfer, and drop buttons. It is a 10/12-button pocket-sized wireless phone and includes caller name display for internal calls.

Charging Cradle (included with each 9040 handset)

The charging cradle with mounting base and power cord sits on the desktop or is mounted on the wall and is used to charge the handset battery(s). There is no telephone wire connected to the charging cradle—the connection occurs at the DRM. Any 9040 handset can be plugged into any TransTalk system cradle for battery recharging. The cradle also contains a battery "garage" for storage and charging of a second, optional handset battery. Charging cradles must be connected to standard AC power
